The Stingray remotes are a cost effective alternative to the Linear MegaCode brand garage door operator remotes. The Stingray 318LIPW2V 2-Button MegaCode transmitter can be programmed to two separate Linear garage door openers, Linear gate openers or Linear MegaCode radio receivers. Each transmitter is easy to program by learning the transmitter’s unique code.
The Stingray remotes are also compatible with vehicles equipped with Homelink. If your vehicle has the Homelink buttons (refer to your car owner’s manual) then the Homelink buttons in the car can be programmed using the Stingray remote after it has been programmed to the garage door opener, gate opener or receiver.
The Stingray remote control comes with one (1) 12V 23A Alkaline battery. The red LED on the Stingray remote will glow when the remote button is pressed and when sending a signal. If the red LED is dim then the remote battery should be replaced. Under normal use, the batteries should last 12 - 18 months.
