Return Authorization Instructions
Do you have a product that you purchased from the Garage Door Zone Store and need to return it? Fill out the Return Authorization Form below and we will get back to you with an RA # (Return Authorization number). Please include your name, email address and invoice number so we can reference your order. Also give a brief description for the reason for the return.
You should also review our Return Policy found at the bottom of this page. If you are having difficulties with getting a product to work properly then we would encourage you to contact us first before requesting a return and we will try to help you with whatever problem you are experiencing and hopefully avoid an unnecessary return. You should email us at: [email protected] and let us know what troubles you are having with the product. Otherwise fill out the Return Form below and we'll get back to you in 24-48 hours (usually in less than 24 hours) with a Return Authorization number and return instructions.If you have any issues with the form below then go to the Contact Us page and email us with your Order Number and we'll get back to you. The original purchaser has a period of 30 days from the invoice date to return any purchase for a full refund, less shipping and handling, provided the merchandise is in new, resalable condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging. No used merchandise will be accepted. Unless the merchandise is shipped in error, customer is responsible for outgoing freight as well as return freight. The cost of the shipping will be deducted from the credit, which the customer is entitled to upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s). Acceptance of merchandise is final only after inspection. All warranty books, instructions manuals, parts and accessories must be included as well as the original box in which the item was shipped. To protect the original factory carton from any additional shipping damage, please place it inside another carton for return shipping. A 20% restocking fee may apply if original packaging, items are missing and/or instructions are damaged and unusable.
Electronic logic control boards are NOT returnable due to the susceptibility of the board becoming damaged from improper handling or installation. Radio receivers and remotes have manufacture codes on them - if the codes of the product we sent you does not match the one you return it will not be accepted nor will a credit be issued.
All returns require an "RA" - Returned Authorization. In some cases, returns may require a re-stock fee as imposed by the manufacturer. Please fill out the Return Request Form to receive a Return Authorization number. If you have any questions please email our customer service staff before sending any packages. Shortly after receiving your Return Request we will issue an "RA" number by email for your return. This number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package. Any package sent to us without an "RA" number will be refused. We will not accept packages sent C.O.D.
