Are you looking to replace the worn out or torn bottom garage door weather seal on your garage door? We stock the ProSeal 3-1/2" wide durable weather resistant black PVC replacement bottom garage door seal that forms a U shape with 1/4" T-style ends. Installing new vinyl bottom garage door seal is an excellent way of keeping out unwanted water and dirt in your garage. The 3.5" wide bottom door seal works in Raynor garage doors and other residential & commercial garage doors that have door bottom astragal retainers that accept a 1/4" T-style bottom garage door weather seal.

Measurements

The actual measurement of the "T" part of the seal is between .23" and .25" due to manufacturing tolerances. The seal has been tested & works in all Raynor brand models and some Gadco door models. You should measure the "T" on your existing seal with a caliper to make sure this seal will work in your door. If you're unsure if this seal will work in your garage door then you might consider purchasing the Seal Sample Pack here and test the samples in your door to see how they fit.

The width of the seal is close to 3-5/8" in width. A common question is "Can I use a seal that is larger (or smaller) in width than my current seal?". The answer is yes you can. The most common width is 3" wide but a door that uses 3" wide seal could also use a 3-1/2" or 4" wide seal. The wider seals will give the seal a little more coverage while sealing the garage door to the floor. Going up to a 4" wide seal should only be considered if the floor is out of level or broken and that extra seal is required to seal the door otherwise the seal may be too "floppy" and fold over on itself if it's not needed.

Door Compatibility

The 3-1/2" Black T-style vinyl garage door seal is compatible in garage doors that use a 1/4" T-style seal. This includes all of the Raynor brand models and some of the Gadco brand models. We recommend that you measure the "T" part of your seal with a digital caliper to confirm compatibility or purchase the Seal Sample Pack to test the seal in your garage door before purchasing a full length piece of seal.

Compatible with the following Raynor models: Aspen Series (AP200LV, AP200, AP138), Tradition Series (Masterpiece, ShowCase), Advantage Series (TradeMark, BuildMark), Discontinued Models (Classic, Decade I & II, Affina, Centura, Relante, Prisma, Charleston); Commercial Models: TC Series (TC320, TC300, TC200), ThermaSeal Series (THM220, TM200, TM175), SteelForm Series (S16, S20, S24, S24-C), Discontinued Models (Tri-Core, Styleform Standard & Basic)

If you need a seal for a Clopay, CHI, Ankmar, Amarr or other brand that uses a seal with a larger 5/16 inch T then for that application you should consider using the 4 inch wide 5/16 inch T-style Rubber Seal or the 3-1/2 inch wide 5/16 inch T-style TPE Seal.
This seal WILL NOT work for door manufacturers such as McKee, Amarr, Stanley & Taylor that use a 3/16" T-style seal

Installation Tips

Two-Person Job: For a smooth installation process, enlist the help of a second person-one to pull the seal through the retainer, and the other to feed the seal into the retainer.

Lubricate for Ease: Applying soapy water or a lubricant to the retainer beforehand can significantly ease the installation process.

Perfect fit

Great product, arrived fast

I bought a version of this off the shelf at the local hardware store and quickly realized I bought the wrong replacement piece. This product and business is great because I can buy the exact length I need. It arrived quickly and went in just as it should. They even leave you some left over to fold in the ends. I also bought a pair of replacement springs from this business. Those also arrived quickly with no issue. Garage door is as good as new (or atleast I hope). Fingers crossed until the next thing goes out, in which case I will buy from this company again. Forget the stuff on Amazon, buy from these professionals. 10/10.

Easy Install Door Bottom Seal
