The 71865 Marantec rail support bracket snaps on to the chain or belt garage door opener rail. The bracket can then be secured to hanger angle (not included) for additional support of the rail. The bracket can be used on 7', 8', 10', 12' or 14' Marantec opener rails. The manufacturer recommends that a support bracket is used for garage door openers with 10' rails or longer.
