5/16 Inch T-Style Seals

The "T" part of the bottom garage door seal slides into the astragal retainer that's mounted on the bottom of your garage door. Different makes of garage doors can use different types of astragal retainers that require specific size of seal that will fit in the retainer. If your garage door uses a T-style seal then measuring your existing seal with a caliper will help you determine what size of "T" that your garage door retainer uses.

The 5/16" T-style seal can commonly be found in Amarr, CHI, Clopay along with other makes that require a 5/16" T-style seal. If you don't have a caliper to measure the seal then you could use a tape measure but that's not always the most accurate. You might want to consider getting the Seal Sample Pack here before purchasing a seal that might not work in your garage door.
