3-1/8" Black 1/4" T-style Vinyl Bottom Garage Door Seal
Overview
This black vinyl astragal slides into a garage door that already has a 1/4" T-style aluminum retainer on the bottom section. Laid flat, the blade measures 3-1/8". Once both T ends are in the retainer channels, the blade folds into a U and the bottom of the "U" shape seals against the floor. That contact line is what helps keep water, dirt, leaves, and bugs from coming under the door.
The 3-1/8" wide seal is the reason to choose this seal when you want a little more vinyl on the floor.
The T measures .25", a true 1/4", and the top of the T is slightly thinner in thickness. The true 1/4" measurement pulls through with less effort.
Order it cut to length, 8' to 40'. Each piece is cut 5" to 6" long so the ends can be tucked back into the retainer.
Product Highlights
3-1/8" blade, measured flat: A little more floor contact than a 3" seal, in the same 1/4" retainer.
True .25" T: The T measures 1/4", with a slightly thinner top so it starts and slides easily.
Softer black vinyl: Flexible enough to pull through the retainer, firm enough to hold the U against the floor.
Retainer mount: Slides into the existing bottom retainer. No nails, no screws, no new retainer.
Cut long: 8' to 40', plus 5" to 6" at no charge for the tuck-back at each end.

"T" Measurement
The T on this seal measures .25". Measure the T on the seal coming out of your door with a digital caliper if you have one. This seal has been checked in Raynor retainers and some Gadco doors. If you want to test the fit before ordering a full length, start with the Seal Sample Pack.
Installation Tips
Two-person job: One person feeds the T into the retainer. The other pulls it through.
Lubricate the retainer: Soapy water on the track makes the pull easier, even with a true .25" T.
Check out the Seal Sample Pack if you want to test the fit before ordering a full length.
