The 886LMW is similar to the 882LMW Smart Control Panel in that you can do many of the same functions with either wall control panel but the major difference is that the 886LMW Wall Control Panel includes the feature of motion detecting. This gives you the option to have the operator lights turn on automatically when you walk into the garage and detects your motion. The operator light will stay on for 4-1/2 minutes, giving you time to see where you're going and avoid tripping in the dark. The wall control panel also includes the features to allow you to program the opener remotes, a wireless keypad, set up Wi-Fi (if your opener is Wi-Fi compatible), adjust the light settings, and turn on the Maintenance Alert.
