The 101018 Marantec header bracket is attached to the header above the garage door and is used to hold the end of the belt or chain rail in place. The manufacturer recommends using two 5/16x1-3/4 lag screws (not included) to attach the bracket to the header. The included clevis pin slides through the header bracket and operator rail. The cotter ring is then attached to the end of the clevis pin to keep the pin from sliding out.
