Overview

Are you looking to replace the worn out or torn bottom garage door weather seal on your garage door? We stock the 4" wide gray vinyl replacement bottom garage door seal that forms a U shape with 1/4" T-style ends. Installing new vinyl bottom garage door seal is an excellent way of keeping out unwanted water and dirt in your garage. The 4" wide bottom door seal works in Raynor garage doors and other residential & commercial garage doors that have door bottom astragal retainers that accept a 1/4" T-style bottom garage door weather seal.

A new bottom garage door 4" replacement seal also helps to fill in any gaps between the bottom of the garage door and an uneven garage floor. If the garage floor is level then use the more common.3" Gray Bottom Seal.

T Measurement

*The actual measurement of the "T" part of the seal is between .265" and .285" due to manufacturing tolerances. The seal has been tested & works in all Raynor brand models and some Gadco door models. You should measure the "T" on your existing seal with a digital caliper to make sure this seal will work in your door. You could also get the Seal Sample Pack here and test the samples in your door to see how they fit.

Compatibility

The 4" wide seal is compatible with a variety of door manufacturers that use a 1/4" T-style seal including all Raynor garage doors and some Gadco doors. Double check your seal by measuring your seal first or purchasing the Seal Sample Pack for compatibility.

If you need seal with a larger T such as a 5/16 inch T-style seal for a Clopay, CHI, Ankmar, Amarr or other brand that uses a 5/16 inch T then you should consider using the 4" Black 5/16" T-style Seal or the 3.5" Black TPE 5/16" T-style Seal
This seal WILL NOT work for door manufacturers such as McKee, Amarr, Stanley & Taylor that use a 3/16 inch T-style seal

Installation Tips

Two-Person Job: For a smooth installation process, enlist the help of a second person-one to pull the seal through the retainer, and the other to feed the seal into the retainer.

Lubricate for Ease: Applying soapy water or a lubricant to the retainer beforehand can significantly ease the installation process.
