Q: I have a viper X-70 model garage door opener and I need to replace the wall control panel. The manual lists the model number as M3-543VP. Will the M3-543 Marantec Wall Control you list for sale be compatible with my Viper X-70 system? Thank you.

Q: My garage has three Marantec 4500 units, the center wall control unit has a flashing light but still functions. Since this light began flashing, the remote control no longer opens/closes the garage door. The sensors have been checked and they are aligned. What could be causing the flashing light and the remote to stop working?

If the light is on solid then it means the wall station has power. If the light is on and blinking that means that the Lock Out (or Vacation) Button was pressed & the remotes are locked out. If the light is out then there's no power to the wall station.

Yes, they're compatible with the Marantec Elite 2007 operator.

There is a Lock Out function on the wall station which locks out the remotes. It sounds like you pressed it by mistake. It's the top button on the wall station (symbol of a lock next to it). Press & hold that button for a couple of seconds to turn the Lock Out function off and your remotes should work again.
