The 971LM Liftmaster 1-button remote is compatible with Liftmaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman and Raynor garage door openers and radio receivers with an Orange/Red Learn button. The openers and receivers were manufactured 1997 to 2005. The 971LM replaces the discontinued 971RGD Raynor remote and is also a compatible replacement for the Chamberlain 950CB remote.
Models of the Liftmaster and Raynor operators made between 1997 and 2005 that have an Orange/Red Learn Button and are compatible with the 971LM remote. The older Raynor openers made in the 1990's that used an external radio receiver (Raynor R-Series opener or Flitestar) may have a compatible radio receiver attached to the opener. If you have one of the external radio receivers listed below then the 971LM will work with your opener.
