886LMW Liftmaster Motion-Detecting Multi-Function Wall Station
The Liftmaster 886LMW is a multi-function motion-detecting garage door opener wall control panel. It's compatible with various Liftmaster, Chamberlain, and Raynor Security+2.0 garage door operators from 2011 to present with a round Yellow Learn Button. With the 886LMW you'll never have to fumble around in the dark when you enter your garage because the wall control station will detect you entering the garage and turn on the operator light. The garage door opener lights will automatically turn off after 4-1/2 minutes. You have the option to change the amount of time the lights stay on and there is an On/Off switch if you want to deactivate the motion sensing.
Learn Button - You can program your remotes and keypads by using the Learn button on the wall control station. You no longer need a ladder to access the back of the garage door operator to program your remotes. If your operator is wi-fi compatible then you can also use the Learn button to connect your operator to your home wi-fi network and the Liftmaster MyQ app on your smartphone.
Light Button - Do you want to work around the garage with the opener lights on? All you have to do is press the light button on the control station and the lights will stay on until you press the light button again to turn it off. The factory setting is also set to activate the lights as soon as the safety sensor beam is broken.
Lock Button - Going on vacation and want to block the remotes from working? Press and release the Lock button and any remotes that are programmed into the operator will not open the garage door. If you have a wireless keypad then it will still open the garage door so you can get back into the garage when you return. The wall control station will also continue to work while the Lock function is engaged.
Motion Sensor - Walking into a dark garage is a thing of the past. As soon as you walk into the garage the sensor on wall control panel will detect you and the garage door opener light turns on automatically.
Maintenance LED - The wall control panel features a Maintenance Alert System (MAS) LED light. The manufacturer recommends that the garage door operator be serviced approximately every 4,500 door cycles. Once this number is reached the Maintenance Alert System light will blink indicating that you may want to have the operator serviced. This feature is turned off from the factory but can be easily turned on.
